Those two middle seams on Easy Street were something else. I had to wrangle with the fabric a lot. It was definitely a challenge!
It's a TON of fabric!!! But I finally prevailed and I'm proud to report my middle for Easy Street is done! YAY!! Now just to pick out border fabric this weekend. I won't be able to lay it out on my floor after the borders!!
Easy Street Before Borders |
This was so much fun! I can't wait for Bonnie's next Mystery.
After this I decided I'd work on a little something for the walls of my therapy .... er .... sewing room:
I've just got to sew it all together and it will be done, but I think it's really cute and can't wait to get hung up!!
I also got the setting blocks cut for Susan & Greg's Memory Quilt. I'd say I made the most of my unexpected day off!!
Your quilt is stunning as well. I think your green fabrics stand out better than mine. I had bought border fabrics already (with a little extra of course) but now I've seen a partially pieced border online that uses more greens and the fabrics I bought. I am considering...
ReplyDeleteBTW - maybe some week you can bring your cats to my Feline Friday linky party!?
Your Easy St looks wonderful. The therapy wall hanging made me smile!
